This scarce 12 by 17 inch handmade poster was distributed in 2005 by the Havana-based Organization of Solidarity of the People of Asia, Africa & Latin America (OSPAAAL) as part of a portfolio of 10 silkscreens. Over six decades, OSPAAAL promoted Cuba's solidarity with countries and revolutionary movements in the Third World.

OSPAAAL closed its doors in Havana in June 2019, making many of its famed posters more difficult to find. Solidarity poster in this listing is a mini 2005 silk-screened version of an offset poster designed in 1974 by OSPAAAL. Government in its commonweath status.

The poster was designed by Victor Manuel Navarrete, one of the most prominent designers of Cuban political posters in the 1970s. Overall condition of the poster is good.
